WR Extra Bites - Beyond

Hey Folks,

Well, its official, not only has our favourite afterhours scooped the best club award in favourite clubbing website Seenqueen, in their 2009 poll, but it has now topped the Boyz magazine awards, collecting top slot in the “best club production” category.

So, Beyond tomorrow morning from 6 a.m. looks like being time to really celebrate, not just the clubs achievements, but two of its resident D.J’s who have made the top three in the D.J. category, attaining silver & bronze awards, so big congratulations from Disco Matt to both Steve Pitron & Hi-Fi Sean Dickson, both who have entertained us with stunning sets throughout 2009 in even into 2010. What’s more Mr Sean will be celebrating his birthday while spinning the sounds in the Terrace Bar from 8 a.m. (what a way to do a birthday), so there will be lots of reasons for the champagne, or the scotch whiskey, to be flowing. Now, who could want more reasons to get down to Area for Beyond tomorrow morning (Sun 21st March) from 6 a.m. with The Oli kicking off proceedings in the Terrace Bar, while Paul, Christian packs a punch in the Black Room. Main floor superstars Mickey D, followed by award winning Steve Pitron & then Alan K will make sure this space is red hot & Gonzalo Rivas will strike that harder edged pose in the Black Room following Paul, while Oz fresh Jamie Head will be polishing up proceedings in The Terrace Bar. Add to that Logan’s troupe of dancers to add that extra spice on the back of Matinee’s “Circuit” party, together with the best laser lighting & production you will see anywhere & Beyond looks set to be another stormer. If you are Matinee bound, Beyond promoter Steven Sharp will be in the foyer at The Fridge and there will be free bus shuttles running down from Brixton to Vauxhall from 6.15 a.m. As for tickets, they will be on sale at Area’s doors; at £12 with a flyer or £15 otherwise & extra coatcheck facilities will be on tap as this looks like being a busy one.

Beyond gets a massive Disco Matt thumbs up and we will be there letting our hair down & partying with the best of you, so if you see us come say hi and as we always say....Go There! Be There!
