Well not quite the weekend we know, but a definite date for your diary as Industri this coming Thursday (22nd April) goes all Hustlaball on us and for good reason it seems as it will be hosting the competition to find London’s hottest go-go dancers to perform in the Hard On! room at the May Bank Holiday extravaganza that will be Hustlaball at The Renaissance Rooms on Sunday 2nd May.
So, what can you expect from this evening at Barcode Vauxhall? Well, Industri is renowned for being THE social soiree on the clubbing calendar and this coming Thursday will be no exception as the magnificent Minty will be hosting proceedings, no doubt armed with plenty of shots to kick start your evening. And as for the go-go competition, well expect up to eight dancers that will be wanting to delight, the panel of judges on who makes the grade down to Hard On’s! very own Suzie Krueger, scene dancer agent provocateur Chris Geary & Seequeen’s own Brent Nicholls (also an Industri resident D.J.) will be casting the deciding votes. But it will also be down to audience participation, no fingering please!! and the whole event will be sure to attract a bucket load of scene faces, gay paparazzi & even some off duty go-go’s eyeing up the competition.
So where do you need to be? Well Industri at Barcode Vauxhall this Thursday from (we recommend) 9 p.m., with the contest starting around 10.15 p.m. And providing the musical soundtrack, will be Industri residents Paul Heron & (of course) Brent Nicholls, the now rare back-to-back set being recorded for posterity. And with plenty of drinks offers, not to mention FREE entry, you would be foolish to miss out. What more can we say, apart from what we always do.....Go There! Be There!
